1887 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS64 (CAC)

1887 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS64 (CAC)

Vibrant rainbow tones “pop” for the viewers delight on the lower half of the obverse. Always difficult to locate a Morgan Dollar with toning, but finding one to this degree, is always a pleasure. Yes, the color is the immediate draw, but take that away and what you see is sure thrill you. The strike is strong and the coin is very strong for the grade, in fact if you were to see this in a 65 holder, you would not question it. Housed in an “Old Rattler Holder.”

1893-O Barber Quarter PCGS MS66 (CAC)

1893-O Barber Quarter PCGS MS66 (CAC)

With a large mintage of over 3.3 million pieces, one would expect to easily add this New Orleans mint date to their collection, and finding it in circulated condition, this is true. However, locating this in gem or better condition, this gets tough. This premium gem is one of only 9 coins to receive this grade from PCGS with just 2 coins finer. And looking at the impressive eye-appeal on this coin, it can rival even those. Glorious jewel tones of sapphire, aquamarine and ruby intoxicate the viewer and takes your breath away. Superior striking details are clearly evident on both sides. A wonderful opportunity for the Barber Collector!

Isabella 1893 PCGS MS66+ (CAC)

Isabella 1893 PCGS MS66+ (CAC)

A gorgeous example of the only 25c commemorative coin! Plus coins offer such value in today’s market. The last MS66 Isabella sold in auction for $7475.00, while a MS67 just sold for a whopping $9775.00, this MS66 + seems like a “no brainer”. A super, well preserved example, with golden-mahogany that kisses the peripheries and leaves the center, bright and lively. Distributed at the Chicago Columbian Exposition but was completely overshadowed by the Columbian Half Dollar that was also being distributed. An original order for 40,000 coins were to be minted, but because of lack of demand, and interest, 15,809 coins were returned to the mint for melting.
