Intense luster glistens through this example, although mostly untoned, a display of fiery gold and crimson touches the rims. Always a popular and beautiful design that was minted 5 years, the 1934 the inaugural year, was the only year that the coin was only minted in Philadelphia, the 1935, 1936, 1937 and 1938 were minted at all three mints.
