This satiny Premium “+” gem is gushing with luster and a stunning array of colorful hues. This is a gorgeous example boasting a superior strike and clean beautiful fields. The 1921 Pilgrim issue is the tougher of the two dates with a mintage of 20,053 while 152,112 coins were minted for the 1920 Pilgrim.

The Stone Mountain Commemorative was struck in 1925 to mark the 101st anniversary of General Stonewall Jackson’s birth. The obverse features General Robert E Lee and General Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson mounted. Designed by Gutzon Borglum, who also designed and sculpted Mount Rushmore. The obverse and reverse shows light centers with wonderful jewel tones that swirl near the rims.
