1913 Type I Buffalo Nickel PCGS MS66+ (CAC)

1935-D Buffalo Nickel PCGS MS65 (CAC)

A solid Buffalo Nickel from the Denver Mint. The 1935-D is usually found with a weak strike, this one offered here shows a full strike on both sides. Immaculately preserved surfaces exhibit wonderful sea-blue and caramel toning.

1875 Seated Liberty Dime NGC MS67 (CAC)

1875 Seated Liberty Dime NGC MS67 (CAC)

With over 10.3 million coins struck in 1875 for the seated dime you would believe this to be an available date, unfortunately most survivors are found in circulated condition. This Superb gem is extremely rare, in fact this is one of 7 coins to receive this grade from NGC and only 4 from PCGS with not a single coin higher. Now yes it is rare, but with this intense toning? Almost non-existent!

1896-S Barber Dime PCGS MS66 (CAC)

1896-S Barber Dime PCGS MS66 (CAC)

From an original mintage of 575,056 pieces, one would expect this date to be a bit more available, but to date, PCGS has only graded 73 coins total in Uncirculated condition and NGC just 62. With regrades and crossovers, this number is much smaller. Branch Mint dimes from the 1890s are historically conditionally challenged and with the scarcity of its Quarter counterpart, the 1896-S is a popular and tough issue. This MS66 is one of only 4 coins to receive this grade with a lone coin receiving the 66+ grade. In addition to this date being popular because of rarity, it stands out with glowing rose gold hues that are highlighted by bluish-green rims. A truly spectacular example!

1927-D Peace Dollar PCGS MS64 (CAC)

1927-D Peace Dollar PCGS MS64 (CAC)

With a population of over 1.2 million this Denver date is surprisingly scarce in gem and higher grades. Here is blazing “near gem” example with phenomenal cartwheel luster that you can purchase for 5 times less than a MS65! This artistic beauty was designed by Anthony De Francisci, an Italian-American sculptor, using his wife, Teresa for the model of Ms. Liberty.

1860 Three Dollar PCGS MS62

1860 Three Dollar PCGS MS62

The 1860 is scarce in all Mint State grades with a measly 7036 business strikes issued. Yes, there are coins available in higher grades but just at the MS63 level, plan on paying a few thousand more. Radiant luster reveals just a minute amount of surface abrasions, accounting for the MS62 grade. The design elements are sharply detailed with bright yellow-orange color that electrifies both sides. A very strong example for the grade.

Bridgeport 1936 PCGS MS66 (CAC)

Bridgeport 1936 PCGS MS66 (CAC)

Always a tough design, with the broad, open fields that easily pick up marks and make examples such as this scarce. This coin also shows a faint original antique patina with creamy caramel rims. It’s always nice to pick up a great MS66 example under $500 rather than paying the extra $2000 for an MS67.

Stone Mountain 1925 PCGS MS65 (CAC)

Stone Mountain 1925 PCGS MS65 (CAC)

Silver and golden-amber brighten the surfaces of this tremendous Civil War Commemorative. Struck in 1925 to mark the 101st anniversary of General Stonewall Jackson’s birth. The Commemorative was designed by Gutzon Borglum who also did the Confederate Memorial Carving in Stone Mountain, Georgia depicting three Confederate leaders of the Civil War, President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson (and their favorite horses, “Blackjack”, “Traveller”, and “Little Sorrel).

1862 Indian Cent PCGS MS65 (CAC)

1862 Indian Cent PCGS MS65 (CAC)

This Civil War copper-Nickel cent is stunning in every way. Along with gold and silver coins, the Copper-Nickel cent was hoarded during the war, making it available in lower mint-state and circulated grades. Shimmering unbroken luster illuminates the golden-honey surfaces. The detailing on the headdress and laurel wreath is precise.

1891 Liberty PCGS PR65 Cameo (CAC)

1891 Liberty PCGS PR65 Cameo (CAC)

Wonderful luster radiates from this Liberty Nickel. There is the lightest golden hue that touches the portrait adding to the crisp cameo devices and allowing them to really stand out. This coin was originally produced without the word cents under the “V”, and later added to stop some from gold plating the coins and passing them as $5 coins. A tough coin in this condition, and PCGS has not graded a single coin finer.
