Variegated chestnut toning blankets both the obverse are reverse of this wonderful Mercury Dime. The obverse was publicly mistaken as Mercury the Greek God of abundance and commercial success, but in fact it was Elsie Stevens as Ms. Liberty in a close fitting winged cap.
