1917 Standing Liberty Quarter Type I NGC MS65 (CAC)

1917 was the first year of issue of the redesigned Standing Liberty quarter. The first year was 1916, but the design originally showed Ms. Liberty with an exposed breast. As expected, the public wanted this changed. Here is a refreshing alternative to the “dipped out” white examples plaguing the market place, this example is sure to please. Soft splashes of russet color adorn the upper portion of this fully struck golden piece, which exudes originality.
