1917 Standing Liberty Quarter Type II PCGS MS66FH (CAC)

1917 was the first year of issue of the redesigned Standing Liberty quarter. The first year was 1916, but the design originally showed Ms. Liberty with an exposed breast. As expected, the public wanted this changed. After this was changed within the same year the Eagle was moved up and stars placed below – Variety II. This Variety II has refreshingly clean surfaces and a strong “Full Head.”
