Boone 1938-D PCGS MS67 (CAC) Guttag Family

The Boone Commemorative was minted for five years, the 1938 being the last year. A very small mintage of 2100 coins were made by each of the three mints. This is a gorgeous example with its usual matte-like appearance but an added bonus of lovely iridescent toning can be seen on both sides, with the reverse adding stunning caramel rims. A tough coin in this condition with only a single coin grading higher. From the Guttag Family Collection.
